Thank you, Ann for sharing your and Lucille's history with us. I recently recognized how much I missed by not participating in sports during high school, and all the while you and Lucille were on the cutting edge. Thank you for your leadership and support of one another as you helped open doors for my daughters (basket ball and softball) and soccor league granddaughters.
I was at Roycemore with Cindy. What a wondrful soul. She included everyone in her fun, and her sleepovers were a high point in my elementary years. Thank you Nannette for your shared memories.

Michelle, so glad you will be at reunion.
Hi Scott, I'm glad to see your post and wish you and your family the best.
I remember Mary Belle in the halls, a smile on her face, always available to answer a quick question or to say flat out she wasn't sure of the answer. I think she was always thinking and enjoying the spirit of the moment. Vital, is a word that comes to mind. I am so happy she was able to fulfill her promise and to contribute to all of us, big and small equally in her most unassuming way. Thank you for being here, Mary Belle.
Steven went from Miss VanSwearengen's Honors English on to undergrad at Cornelll in Ithica, New York and back into the heartland of Iowa City, Iowa where he graduated from University of Iowa's Writer's Workshop. (I tried to do the same but didn't have the courage, and dropped out of the English program after a year.) I got to know him there after high school in 1969-1970. He went on to University of Richmond to teach and eventually run the creative writing program. He even has some books for sale on Amazon. I never learned how he passed, but if anyone knew him I would like to learn about his successes and what else he did. He was a talenented poet. I was sorry to learn of his death.
